International Virtual Internship Program (IVIP)
Why apply for IVIP at EFAM?
Since students are pressed for time to look for an internship site, EFAM will be the one to look for an internship site for them. EFAM assists the students by placing them to international companies located in the United Kingdom, USA, and Japan to complete their internship hours virtually. We will schedule the interview and prepare the necessary documents before the internship such as the letter of acceptance and MOA between the accepting company and student. We will also ensure that students will receive their e-certificate and performance evaluation after the internship. EFAM and the accepting company will sign a Memorandum of Agreement with the school to ensure that all parties will guide the students in completing their required internship.
Why pay the facilitation fee?
A minimal facilitation fee is charged to the student since EFAM will be the one to look for an internship site on behalf of the students. Placing the students will help complete their internship hours on time. The facilitation fee is more affordable compared to the onsite internship expenses such as fees for the meals, transportation, uniform, and other related costs.
What are the details of IVIP?
Students from different degree programs can be assigned either as Admin and Operations Intern or IT Intern.
Admin and Operations Intern
This is open to all students regardless of the degree program who can perform any of the following tasks:
- Prepare campaign materials such as posters and brochures
- Create and edit videos based on the provided materials
- Organize virtual meetings and take minutes
- Organize events and prepare a budget plan
- Assist in managing the social media presence of the company
- Write scripts for events and activities
- Research and data entry
- Manage Excel worksheets
IT Intern
This is open to IT and other students who are knowledgeable in the following tasks:
- Assist in website development
- Prepare campaign materials such as posters and brochures
- Create and edit videos based on the provided materials
- Assist in managing the social media presence of the company
- Conduct research for the content of the websites, photos, and videos
