The Student Acceptability and Global Employability (SAGE) certification recognizes schools that align with industry standards in preparing graduates for the workforce. This certification signifies that graduates are well-equipped to succeed in entrepreneurial or employment roles.
The SAGE certification initiative seeks to bridge the skills gap in education, thereby enhancing the employability of graduates for companies. This simultaneously addresses the talent requirements of businesses by supplying them with graduates who possess the necessary knowledge and abilities.
About the certification
Schools that successfully achieve certification will receive the following advantages:

certification Stages and Process
The certification has 2 stages: consultation visit and monitoring visit
Stage 1 – Consultation Visit
A team of evaluators will conduct a thorough evaluation of the school’s documents, processes, and operations. This evaluation will involve document review, interviews, observations, and inspection of the physical facilities. The evaluators will then recommend improvements to enhance students’ industry readiness. School representatives will visit the accreditor’s company to understand future work environments and discuss manpower needs.
Following this consultation visit, the school will receive a certificate of participation, signifying its openness to engage in the SAGE seal certification process.
Stage 2 – Monitoring Visit
Following a consultation, a monitoring visit will occur after two years to confirm that the school’s graduates meet required industry standards. Schools whose graduates satisfy the evaluation criteria will receive an SAGE seal.
To ensure ongoing compliance with industry standards, subsequent monitoring visits will be conducted every two years.
